Hey all 500 + mylotters, how many times do u copy and paste ?

Hey friends,
While responding to a discussion today I had to search something in the web. And there was a paragraph which I thought i should share. So i started to type the content and forgot that i can actually copy and paste it here, lol.
That makes me wonder that how many of you actually use this copy and paste facility given to u by mylot. Do u use it often or just like me u guys also forget that u have this power,lol.
I was very happy when i crossed this landmark but now i think it has no meaning to me at all. As i prefer to type things than copy and pasting it.
What about u friends?

It depends on the content that we need to type. If it is a URL, I will make use of this option though the URL is too small.If I find difficulties in posting due to some technical issues in some day, then I will copy each and every post before submitting and will make use of it ,if necessary.And some time , I will copy and paste the content in some other note pad as I used to copy some other thing after forgetting the copied matter. I feel this option is very much helpful to me as my internet connection fails very often.

Hey kumar,
Yes when i was using an internet connection of sify, that times i use to face this difficulty a lot. Now iam using a better connection and thus no more need to type anywhere else.

hey,
well to be honest that is an idea you have just given me. Till now i have never done that. why would you copy and paste. I guess all the discussions i have had are different so how do you manage doing that. The discussions we start too are all diff so how do you manage doing that?

Hey monish,
Well i wrote that i do not copy and paste here as u rightly said alll the discussions are differant and i dotn find any content to actually copy and paste.
I agree with the other users that one can surely copy the URL and links and paste it for referance. Thats what I certainly do.

Hi, though copy pasting is officially allowed after you reach 500 posts I have hardly resorted to this. It wont be more than 10 occasion that I have done so. Sometime it help save time and labour but ironically you do not always get such questions were you do that.

Hey kraj,
Exactly i dont think i have used it many times either. Its something like which is good for referring to some site by providing the link. But to copy and paste a lot of content is just out of question. I dont think anyone does that and hence this facility is good but not very meaningful.

No, I have never used the feature at least not in discussions I haven't. I did copy and paste banner codes in mh profile, and with those you just about have to do it that way, as typing it would be time consuming, not to mention if you mess up, then it won't work. I preferr typing as well, as long as I have the opportunity to type, I am going to take it. I don't mind typing st all, as it is something that I have always wanted to utiilize and now I can. I just love mylot and I am here to stay. Well, good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I don't copy and paste very often here in the Lot. I do copy and paste for other things like school and emails. I know I have the power to do this function. I need to practice my typing. So it is good for me to type rather than do the copy/paste thing.

Well I have a bad habbit of using shortforms while typing, so yea typing here can certainly help me to get rid of this habbit.

Hu ore,
U r not that far away either m8. I also had this feeling when i crossed that mark. I thought ah! no more typing , lol. But over a period of time i realised it has no real sense of having this power. I mean just for example look at this post of mine. I cannot just copy and paste it for u. It will get so boring if i paste the same thing to all the discussions,lol.

It depends on the need. Sometimes I need to move a sentence to the top or bottom. So I use cut and paste. Sometimes there are links which are too long. So typing it can be time consuming and copy paste comes handy.
