I think it should not go bad because it does not have power source in it. What you people think???

I have had some experience with trying to save some important data off of my flash drive. I had two flash drives go through the washing machine. They can get ruined, but they can also be saved. My suggestion is to not plug it in to the computer for at least 24 hours, so it can dry. Also, sticking it in a bag of rice can help suck all of the moisture out of it. Just make sure not to put it in a computer when it is still wet or may still be wet because it may ruin the computer and cause the flash drive not to work.

Yeah, I agree... let it dry out for a while and it should work OK. And I've heard the thing about using rice, too-- the rice will absorb the moisture. Supposedly you can do the same thing with a flash-based iPod that you drop in water (don't know if the same trick would work with the iPods that have a hard drive in them).

That is right, let the flash drive get dry before plugging it into the Computer. This may not be the case with ipod because ipod has got its own power supply and memory. Its internal power supply may short the internal circuits of the device and damage it. One thing can be done with ipods that switch off the ipod and remove its battery and let it completely dry.
