yuvraj at present is the best bastsman in the indian team after schin tendulkar so why isnt he sent in at no .2? why is he being sheilded ? i mean ur best batmen should be in the top 3 if the second wicket falls late then yuvraj singh gets less overs to get in and slog,so why not sent him at no 3 ? in srilankan team sangakarra who is there best batsman comes at no 3 ,so why not yuvraj

i think there is some rift exists between dhoni and yuvi...if you take t20 against England,he is allowed to pl;ay only 6 overs that too required rate is above nine...if asked to dhoni ,he says he didnt fit to handle pressure in 2nd or 3rd overs...moreover the oval ground is short in one side and very long in other side, which means only experienced players only can clear easily.then why jadeja went to top order...the mystery continues in Indian cricket, and its high time they should put individual politics aside and concentrate in teams unity..that will help a lot..

Yuvraj sent at number three on seaming conditions is a disaster waiting to happen . Yuvraj's frailties in the test format has underscored his weakness agaisnst the new ball . Though he is in the form of his life I believe Yuvi thrives when the ball has lost a little bit of its shine and the pitch has flattened out . So I dont think the team will be maximising his potential if he is sent at number three . To cite an example one would never want Michael Bevan to open the inning or come at number 3 for precisely the same reason

Yes Yuraj Singh is in good form now. He played a superb innings against west indies. He tampered all bowlers balls and reached a good ton. I think he will continue in next matches.

Yuvraj is more of an attacking batsmen so he cannot be sent in at no.3. if an early wicket falls then someone is needed to hold the innings together that is what the job of the no.3 player is. there is sehwag in the team who comes to open with tendulkar which means gambhir drops down at no.3 normally who can adapt to the situation and can play both aggressive and normal cricket to graft the innings. If the second wicket falls late then the top order would be doing the job for India which would not be a bad thing at all.

I think from the past experiences, we have known that the batsmen which come in at no. 3 lose their attacking touch and become more of a batsman who plays according to the situation and if we send yuvraj singh at no.3 , he would play slowly to settle down and then he would be tired at the slog when we really need someone like him to take the game away from the opposition!!

The third batsmen is the most vital position in the team.He must be technically strong when the first wicket falls early and also must be an aggressor when the team is going nicely.I don't think Yuvraj would be a good bet especially in seaming conditions.

Hi moneymaker2009,you seem to be a cricket fan just as mine.Well,The batting order has nothing to do with the current form of a batsman, that is why I believe.Yuvraj is surely playing well, but do not promote him in batting order as that may shift his focus and ultimately he may end up loosing his batting form.
