when i first joined mylot, i was happy to see that most of the discussions were actually very interesting. and the tasks put your wiritng skills to the test. however, these past few days, discussions have been more focused on topics which are generally, well, petty. and the tasks are getting filled with requests for referrals disguised as tasks. have you ever noticed this? do you think that recruiting referrals through tasks do not violate mylot's guidelines? don't you wish for more mind-stimulating discussions than the ones currently here? (actually, come to think of it, this post of mine is not exactly a discussion but more of a question bothering me for some time now.)

I've noticed all those observations you mentioned. Those mind-stimulating discussions... i saw some during those times i didn't really feel like joining discussions at all. I am here to relax and have fun with my friends so most of the time i just look for light topics where i can relate my own experience or say a bit of what i know and i avoid those that tend to become heated up discussions. There were some days when it seemed there was not a single topic i was interested in, what i did was to look for a particular friend's best responses in the discussions she has joined in the past and there, i was able to find the ones i wanted and gave my own response. What's more interesting about it was i discovered a lot more things about my friend through her writings! And we became even closer because of what we learned about each other!

I've been thinking the same thing since I joined.
