Do you know the game magic the gathering?Do you play this game? My boyfriend plays this game and he invested most of his time and money in playing this game,he also competes in and out of the country.
Is it worth of the time,effort and money spend for playing this game?how popular is this game in your place or even around the globe?

Magic the Gathering is a world popular game. It was invented in the early 90's by a math professor, and was acquired by Wizards of the Coast around 1993. I've been playing since 1994. My former roommate is a sanctioned tournament qualified judge. A few years ago, having nightly games for 3-6 hours a night at my house was common; but if I wasn't headed for world/pro tourneys, I wouldn't be leaving the country to play. There is a professional players league I believe, and MtG has had previous games broadcast on ESPN. There is money and are prizes to be won, as well as potential occupations with WOTC on their design team. As far as investing cash in the game, it all depends. The seconardy market guarantees that you will be able to get the cards that you want or need, if you are willing to pay the price that someone is asking... But for as many honest people/shops out there, there are just as many crooked ones. You can read more about it on the WOTC website.
