For an outing youll use your own car or public transport?

The public transport is always my first preference as you never know what is in store for you on the way! Then there are so many people to help you out and you are always in a company of so many of them! I may use my car for visiting the nearest hills station shimla and love driving up the hills!

If we go for an outing, we use our cars, more comfortable to put your baggage and comfortable for baby too and safe. It's hard to find a public transport here in UK, taxi is expensive, bus? only one way, vice versa, if you go to the north, you need to take many buses before you arrived and it takes longer.

i think i have to say own car the reason i say that its cause i dont want other people to think i am stuck up or some thing cuz am not using my vehicle now if some would had happen to my transportation then i would ask them if we can use his or hers to go where ever we have to go............

Well, it depends.. if it's 1-2 hours away then i would use the car to go to my destination but if it's more than 3 hours away then probably, i would take a public transport to save gas and energy.. in fact, taking the public transport is more exciting than using your own car because you can get to explore more..

if its an outing, id use our own car for sure as it is more comfortable and i'd save on gasoline as our runs on water, compared to taking public transportation where fare is high. also if its an outing we'd be taking many things, like food, extra clothes for the kids, etc... taking apublic transportation would be really such a hassle, so taking our own car is a must for that.
