The reaction to the death of Micheal Jackson is amazing. When he was alive people found every fault the could and pounded it into him and now that he is dead, I think the general public is realizing their loss. I am living in France and every basic cable channel has done a report on him at least once a day for the past 3 days and all of the music channels are playing hours of his music videos, every store is playing MJ's music and people drive around the city with their MJ cassettes blasting and the windows rolled down. You can't walk for five minutes in a crowded place without hearing his name. It's incredible. The poor man had a very difficult life and throughout his journey on Earth the media and the people around him have attacked him and made his life even harder. I'm not saying that he wasn't weird, but no one focused on his humanitarianism or his efforts to make other's lives better than his was... especially in respect to his childhood. I wanted to know if you all thought that the public's pre-death or post-death reaction to MJ was more appropriate and how you are reacting yourself. Did you pull out your old albums? Did you wear your concert shirt to work or school? Do you even give a flying leap? Did you cry? Has your opinion changed about him? Thanks and let's have a fun discussion!
