Asian Pizza vs European Pizza?

Asian pizza is something similar to the European since Pizza originated in the West part of the world. The best way to differentiate asian pizza is the way it is being eaten. Asian people consider pizza not as a big meal but a snack. So asians can actually order in piece or in what they call pie which eventually known as pizza pie, same thing with the americans. On the other hand, European countries rarely offer this to order by pieces. YOu have to have the whole pizza and take note that the smallest pizza they have is the biggest pizza in Asia. How much more when you order a large size pizza in Europe. In Asia, you can order 2 big size of Pizza for 10 people either dine in or take out. In Europe, you order the large pizza for one person only. Then, is that a big difference? Of course! They starve more and eat more while asians eat this type of food to satisty the hungriness for that certain hour. Keep posting, Good Bless Jeffrey

I never knew they had Asian Pizza. Does it have tomato sauce or cheese on it? This sounds pretty interesting. I love pizzas so I think I would probably like this too. Thanks for telling us about this. Yummy! Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Asian pizzas have both tomato sauce and cheese. It depends on the pizza U want really. In Sri Lanka the "Pizza Hut" generally serves pizza meant for local pallets. Some only cheese while others very little cheese but loads of chilli and so on and so fourth. There was one I remember called sausage crust where in the whole crust there was a large sausage. That was nice but U couldn't eat a lot of eat , it was filling.

well i think the main difference is the size. asian pizza is smaller than its euro counterpart. pizza is also not considered a full meal in asia maybe because of its size.

*Snort* Yup, your right, though MY stomach certainly doesn't call it a full meal! The smallest pizza's are meant for one person, but I eat almost a whole medium size one for lunch or dinner(supper).

Impressive! I didn't know that the Europeans have bigger appetite to pizzas than the Asians. For me, I can only eat one slice or 1/8 part of the large size pizza. Two slices makes me full. But I can eat four cups of rice in a meal if I am very hungry. Is there a difference?

All most all European foods are mega sized when compared to Asian serving sizes. About your question well think about the kind of rice U eat that plays a role as well some rice fill U up fast while certain others are lighter. Also pizza's have a lot of oil that fills a guy{or girl :) } up.

Hi! The size of the pizza depends on the eating habits of the people of thos specific countries . But to differentiate the quality of the pizza is the cooking. For instance Asians use a fair amount of spices in all cooling including pizza's and other fast food. I haven't eaten European pizza but from the certain fast foods I had eaten at England there was a significant difference in taste. Anyway I guess it's all a matter of personal taste. me personally I like a lot of spice! :) Lot of chillies lol. P.S:- I'm from Sri Lanka By the way

This piece of info in very enlightening... I couldn't eat a whole pizza by myself. I usually share with my family we buy a family size as take out. Mostly we have leftovers so we put that in the ref and eat it again on the next meal time. If the European pizza is sooo big, I'd rather have a piece than a big one. Sometimes, I only eat pizza coz I crave for the taste of eat, wouldn't want to eat it all the time. Besides why order a big one you can't eat all of it when you can have a piece to satisfy you? A piece is more affordable and just right for the budget.

Hi there, European people consider pizza as a meal. It is like eating rice with soup and chicken with soya sauce or curry sauce. At first, I did not know that in Europe, it is like that. During my first week in Germany, I ordered 2 piece of Pizza which I explained as a Pizza Pie. To my surprise, I get a two large pizza in big plates. Woooah, by looking at it, you could not imagine how you are going to eat it..and since that was my first time, I only ate half one big pizza and take out the other one and a half. It was not so expensive but damn, I finished the pizza in two days. Now, I learned how to eat big big pizza and sometimes I am craving for more. Maybe because I have not eaten rice for quiet sometime and pizza made me feel as if I have eaten a big meal. Ciao, Jeff

Wow, that is some information you got in there my friend. But anyway be it a big or small sized pizza, Italian, Asian, or European Pizza, it is still pizza to me and i am drooling here because i like Pizza. I would really like to eat such a big sized pizza. Let's see if I will be able to taste European Pizza by going to Europe on my next trip, lolz just kidding. But i would love to go there also if money and time permits. I love all types of pizza. For me, i would not regret eating or trying out even if that is an anchovies pizza. I like seafood pizza too

European pizza is almost the same pizza offered in fast food restaurants in Asia but once again, the size varies and the number of people to eat. I actually miss Pizza from Japan where they have a specific name for that which I forget, and a Pizza Hut from the Philippines which I really enjoyed specially that thin rust hawaiian and cheese with chicken...hmmm.. getting hungry, I must have pizza by now..See you when i am done.. Is that an authentic truth, or it was just base on your personal opinion on this fact? I consider eating pizza is not a snack, but a meal for me too. I like pizza, but I can eat 6 pieces at once at least. It is different from people to people. You can generalize Asian people eating habits base on this.
