hmm what does this really mean to you people??? can anyone just help me differentiate the meaning of more than friends and friends wityh benefits??? I just can't get it???

To me and where I'm from "friends with benefits" means you are good friends that sleep together without any strings attached....I've had several of those back in the day and it was a really great set up for me at that time in my life....

but hey even in those kinds of set ups people fall in love or think that they do...
sure I've seen it happen with ppl I know but thats not me...however I did have a couple of guys end up wanting to go beyond our arrangement and it just wasnt happening..it wouldnt have worked out for me because I traveled so much and was always on the road/out of town working etc...which is WHY I had various friendships like that (in various towns LOL)...it was a good set up for me actually but ya I've known some ppl to NOT be able to just stick with the plan so to speak...and sadly it ends up ruining the friendships for them which is cruddy...

oh,.. is that so?? wow, i never knew that,. well i am in a relationship atm and that guy friend tried to court me, in the sense he said that he's desperate for me thats why he wanted me to be his friend

thats the same thing that it means to me. i have never had anything like that and dont plan to. but i dont' discriminate so do what ever you want to do. anywho thats what it means to me friends that sleep together with no strings attached. you are to be there for them sexually or intimately for them when they need it. but hey even in those kinds of set ups people fall in love or think that they do... hmm.... well byebye

Friends with benefits, I've heard of it from my friends. It's simple, you go with your friends just to have or get something from them. But it also have a deeper meaning too, maybe they can help you not only in financial but in emotional or spiritual aspect. So choose a friend that is not going with you because you gonna treat them.

Well I recently had the same experience. If he doesn't think of you as anything more than a friend, then you shouldn't want to mess or make things out of order right nowl. It looks like your friend just like to take things slow, or maybe he really needs a good friend right now, more than anything. Hey! you never know she might just want to be more real soon. Never stop hoping! Just remember to be there for him right now and I hope this advice helps you!

I've always seen it as a relationship without commitment. It usually gives either party an opportunity the keep the "friend" close and still see other people. No commitment - no one gets hurt (or at least that's what they think).

Friends with benefits means a kind of a symbiotic relationship you develop with people where you feed of each other for mutual benefits . Its not really friendship but a kind of an alliance . Friendship I firmly believe should be selfless where you dont have any vested interests in your relationship and its quite easy to differentiate between the two sets of people but I believe the first kind also has its benefits
