Grandmother and 7 year old grandson die and it could have been prevented.

In the news today announed that the above people were killed by a train because of a poorly lit level crossing. This meant it was difficult to tell if a train was coming. Surely when level crossing are being made, safety checks should be conducted to ensure that you are well aware that a train is coming, i know some people risk a crossing but when you have a little child i don't think she would have done. So two lives have gone when something so simple has having loud noises or big signs whatever could have been placed there. Maybe the crossing wasn't poorly lit when it was introduced but surely then there should have been maitenance checks
