I think a lot of people expect too much of a "vampire" story out of Twilight. It's reallu just a love story with vampires in it. :o

No, it's just a (love) story with fairies in it. If Edward Cullen is a vampire, call me Michael Jackson.

I love the movie, but I love the books so much more. I don't really understand why movies always skip so many parts of the books they are supposed to represent. I wish they would stay true to the story. New Moon is supposed to be even better than Twilight and more accurate according to the original story. I guess we will ahve to wait until November to find out.

I love True Blood too. But these vamps aren't like True Blood vamps. These vamps are something we haven't seen before (some similarities yes but...). I think we should all remember that. And as megumiart has pointed out -- it's not really a vampire series but a love story that happens to exist with vampires and werewolves in it. I hated Twilight the movie. I think it's the worst adaption I've ever seen. I love the book though. As far as the New Moon trailer (and 2 clips from comic con) I think it looks a 1000 times better than the first. Somethings are different of course but we should all expect that but it looks as if they're trying to keep more towards the book in this movie than the last. And I believe that is all in the directing. As for how they moved in Twilight -- yes I think their speed should be more like in True Blood than in the movie. Maybe they had to do with what budget they had and that's the best they could do (it was small considering the things they needed to pull off). I also HOPE that they will in this new movie move more like they are described to in the book. I read in an interview that some shots are done 'slower' so that we can see exactly what they're doing too. The budget is considerably more in this film too but there is also a lot more CGI due to the horse sized wolves. Not to mention Kristen & Rob - at the very least - got fat pay raises.

I love the 4 books of Twilight and i have read them all. But the movie was really interesting too. I guess the good looking Edward and Bella are the major reason for the success of the film. They got great chemistry together and i'll very much like to see them together again. So i'm eagerly waiting for the movie New Moon to come out and give another hit !

I waited to see the movie Twilight until after I read the book. I loved the book, even though I didn't think I would. I then watched the movie and loved the movie. Yes it was not as good as the book, they never are, but I think they did a good job. So once I fell in love with Twilight, I rushed out to buy the 2nd book New Moon. I liked that book too! I can't wait to see the movie! I am going to go to Orlando where my best friend lives and we are going to go see it at a fancy movie theater opening night. I know - I'm dorking out! :) But I can't help it. I have already finished Eclipse and I am towards the beginning of Breaking Dawn. I hope they make all four because I am addicted...
