Would you take a bullet for a friend, or a a beloved?

I had been watching old movies lately. Can't help but notice the supreme sacrifice a person can give to a friend or a loved one. D'Artagnan took the dagger to save his new found son in Man with the Iron Mask. Elena blocked the bullet path aimed at her husband Zorro. A presidential aide saved his boss in Air Force 1. Confronted with the same situation, would you have done the same?

I'm not really sure. But considering the situation maybe I have done the same. You can do crazy things when protecting your loved one, even if means making yourself in danger. =)

In a crowd, my instinct is always to shield or cover my daughters. Perhaps that is a natural reaction to danger.
