Sticky Situation (A Poem by Clutterbug)

I sailed across the kitchen floor
on grease from years of frying,
if I said my aunt kept a spotless house
I'd most certainly be lying.
Her cabinets are an insect strip,
sticky with all kinds of bugs,
she asked me to take off my shoes and relax,
but I declined after seeing her rugs.
I love my dear aunt, and I've taken the chance
to scrub down the place when she's sleeping,
I sneak in a night and clean by flashlight,
with a bucket and mop I am creeping.
Do you have a friend or relative with an unusually greasy kitchen? Please drop me a line.

That's great! Wow - you're wonderful with words! Didn't you make one for mylot too? I remember when you did. You're doing a great job. You should try to work for hallmark or those card companies. I'm sure they'd love to have your kind of talent.
Unfortunately, I am the one who owns the greasy kitchen. Hahahahaha. I can't seem to get rid the greasiness on my stove. I don't like it, but it's there. *sigh*
Any tips?

Thank you very much for your kind words. Yes, there was another silly poem I wrote about mylot. I have to be in the mood to write, or else nothing comes out, lol. For my stove, I use Dawn dishwashing liquid, because it cuts grease really well. Thanks again for your reply.
