Is this shampoo bad?

I've heard Ion shampoos, and other products, are bad for the hair. I was recently given a bottle of Ion Conditioner though, and I really like it...but I don't want to use it if it's bad for my hair. What do you guys think? Have you heard anything about it?!?!

I haven't heard Ion being bad. My mom and I both use it. It's supposed to be a form of some beauty salon shampoo but I forget which one.
