According to Deepak Chopra in his book "Creating Health; How to Wake Up the Body's Intelligence"...... "Thinking happy thoughts literally creates a positive chemical change in the brain-which stimulates both positive physical and psychological benefits" In the book he reports numerous studies in which people literally infused their brain and body with positive endorphins by time traveling to happier times, thinking about happy memories from their past. If you time travel into the past or future, and consciously think only about happy memories or optimistic goals, you can become both happier and healthier. Try today and make a list of 5 happy moments and 5 future goals you are excited about, then when you feel all is lost, pull that list out and take yourself there. Close your eyes and think about this happy time. Envision every detail about it -what are you wearing? --where are you sitting? ---what scent is in the air? The more sensual details, the stronger the neutral connection, and the better the endorphin benefit Today make it a Happy Thought Day

so nice to see you cbeee3 thanks for the positive feedback here . . and i am glad to hear you do it too...actually it is so basic and things that are so easy to do . .so many people i see on a day to day basis that walk around glum and so unhappy . .and i just want to scream at them .. S M I L E . think good thoughts . and the few times i did . they just grunted back at me .. . so i go on my way . .and just keeping thinking happy thoughts . .remnds me of that song from South Pacific . . . Happy Talk keep talking Happy Talk . .think about things you like to do . .you gotta have a dream . if you dont have a dream . how you gonna make that dream come true.. Happy Day to you
