How do you see the fact hat BCCI has not made any schedule to play cricket with Pakistan for another 12 years? Is not too much or there is legitimate aspect that Pakistan should get this treatment?
Is the BCCI too rigid or showing the real zeal of patriotism?

I don't think BCCI has anything to do with patriotism.. they haven't included Pakistan tour in schedule just because they don't have permission to do that. Its the decision of center govt. to break all sort of relations with pak, be it cricket or something else.. and thats a good one.

Hi,
vipin,
Yes, that is the point. After all BCCI is within the Govt and when there is a dictation by the Govt. it can not do anything on it.
Thanks

Hello jee,
As you know there has been ever a cold relation between Pakistan and India and therefore even the event is held is the neutral venue there is a risk at this moment. When the dust would settle considerably might be playing in the neutral venue would be possible.

There are a lot of politics in cricket my friend. South Africa have only just been included in World Cricket, and I feel the Pakistan ban has come about because of a series of atrocities which were brought in through the game. They'll be allowed back in at a later date, I'm sure, but in the meantime, it's best for them not to air their political differences through cricket.
Brightest Blessings.

Hi there,
yes, until things are settle for their own sake they should keep mums on the issue where politics is attached. Actually this is more politics than the game itself.
Thanks a lot for the response.

Its because of the present situation there with terrorist attacks and political unrest. There no point planning for a tour that just seems impossible to go on with. If the stuation eases, I am sure there will be some changes. But at the moment, especially after what happened to the Sri Lankan team, it seems like a very long road to recovery.

Yes that is right. And I do not think any cricket playing Nation would visit Pakistan with that purpose as well.
Thanks for the response.

Hi
No, not at all. There can arise any question as to why India should go there as there is no security as such.
