What pet do you like?

I like Peruvian guinea-pig

I prefer cats. We have had cats in our house since I was about 9. We got rid of them about 4 years ago because the older one (who was about 18) kept scratching my daughter (who was 2 at the time). I miss them. I miss having a soft, cuddly kitten around. We went to a pet store last week and they were having an adoption day. Me and the kids were looking at all the cats they had and one jumped out at me. She was a gray kitten (8 weeks old) She was perfect and if we had the money I might have bought her. I was so tempted even though it would mean an extra $20 a month on our rent and then the cost of litter and food. I just missed having a cat so much. But I knew we couldn't afford her in the long run and she would have suffered because of it. Not to mention I'm not sure I'm ready for all the hair all over, especially with a crawling baby around. It never bothered me before having kids (and we had 2 black cats when my kids were born). It was so gross when they were crawling and putting all that fur in their mouths--ick. Some day I plan to have at least 2 cats (because they are very social and do best with at least 2 so they have another cat to play with) and probably 1 dog for my daughter. She is 4 and just loves dogs of any kind.

I love all animals. I have two cats right now.

I don't have any pets, but I like dogs best too
