Finally, a welcome break for the Indian Cricket Team!

India play WI in the last game of the 4 match ODI series and then we do not play any cricket until September. That means a break of two months. I don't really remember when it happened the last time, thanks to the two IPLs and jam packed schedule. I thought the BCCI had lost the concept of "off season", something that the Australians, English and South Africans follow strictly. I hope our players get more such breaks and take care of the small niggles that they keep picking up here and there so that there is no compromise in the performance when they get on the field. What do you think?

Yeh a welcome break after a long and tough season. They have achieved a lot and have shown some charater to come back from the T20 deafeat and win in WI. As a viewer its gets boring during the off season, atleast the ashes is keeping us engaged this year. Hope they use this time wisely to revorer from all their problems and hope they are refreshed and ready to roll when training begins again next month.

Hello friend, Yes, even I was getting a bit bored and I did not want to watch 50 over cricket after so much of T20 in the previous two months leading to it. I hope things will settle down till the start of the Champions' Trophy and the tri series in Sri Lanka.

Really Indian Team is playing regularly since a long time. This one and half months break would rejoice them. But don't rejoice at all as this break can take away the forms of players already so many players are not in form.

Hello Nitish, That is a really careful observation. yeah, some players want to keep playing when they are in good form and a break can take it away from them. However, there has to be a balance between resting too much and losing form and preventing an overdose of cricket.

Its true. what they needed is the break badly. They are playing at a stretch. It will boost some energy at least. Hope they play well in tri series in SL as well as in Champions trophy.

Hello Subha, Good to know that you are so much updated on cricket, as most of the girls don't care much about it.I hope all the players are fresh after the break and the batting does not fail as it did during the T20 world cup.
