and a safe one. There were so many reports here in the news of accidents, drownings and fireworks related. I am happy to say that none of them were of anyone that I knew, however am sad over the loss of life. I hope that all of you made it through without being hurt or any one that you love and care for being hurt either. Summer is the time of the year in which emergency rooms are packed with accidents and parents are hearing some horrid words from doctors etc. Please keep your children safe for the reminder of the summer and yourself as well.

Hello! I hope you had a great 4th of July with your family and friends. It's very true that in the summer time there are many more accidents than any other time of year. This year we decided to stay in because the usual place we go to actually cancelled the fireworks due to the economy. They mentioned the town was going to save between $30,000.00 to $35,000.00. Hopefully next year I'll be able to go. Take Care! :)

Wow that is a large savings for your town. Some of my neighbors put on a professional firework show last night, it was amazing, I can not imagine how much money they spent on the party.

You are right, we mainly stay at home, with only one quick trip to the corner store and another one to a friend's house. I hope all continues to stay well, the weekend is not over.
