Do you ping your own articles?

I use Article Pinger to ping the posts that I write on my blogs and when I write articles for other companies such as Triond, Bukisa, and Squidoo. I also send them to Digg, StumbleUpon, and Reddit. Do any of you do this? If not, what do you do to get traffic to your blogs?

Why not. In addition, I put Add-To-Bookmark button for social bookmarking services. SMO media I would use other than social bookmarking sites are SNS, BBS and Q&A sites. I simply put my blog address on my SNS profile. With BBS, I occasionally post URL to an article on my blog if it's relevant to the topic. And, with regards to Q&A sites, I may use it to ask questions on how to improve the design, etc.

I'm sorry but I have no idea what SNS, or BBS sites are. Could you please tell me? Also what do you mean by Q&A sites? Can you give me some examples?

Oops... sorry about that. I'll give you some examples; SNS (social networking sites) - MySpace, Facebook BBS (bulletin board system) - myLot Q&A (question and answer) - Yahoo!Answers
