Does your digital camera have the capability to capture video? My old one could, except it couldn't record sound, so there was sort of no point...

Yup my camera has the feature to record videos and also the sound. But the main drawback is that when i play the video in my camera the sound cannot be heard. When its copied into the computer i can hear the sound this is the only thing that irriates me rest all i love my camera very much.

Well you still can record a video, if it's some landscape there is no need of sound then you can add some music yourself by editing on pc. My Canon is great, the videos are good and with very clear sound. I tried it at a concert and got an amazing result from it. The only thing that was not good was a bit of shake since I was moving with the music and so it was not as good as I wanted. Next time I try to keep my hand straight. Have a nice day Anna!! Hope you'll soon have a good camera with video facility

Yup. Fortunately my digital camera has that video capacity. I guess, we are lucky that at this age, most of the digicams are getting smaller but loaded with a lots of features.
