why the people are using a middle name

hi peercc, i do not know the reason but we are using full name,we are using surname is as first name and orginal name as second or last name,good day

I don't know but I am in a great confused about my middle name. My full name is "Abu Mohammad Mizanur Rahman". I don't know which part is my middle name. Sometimes I think Mizanur is my middle name. Sometimes I think Mohammad is my middle name. And I also don't know which part is my first or last name. Sometimes I think Abu is my first name sometimes I think Abu Mohammad is my first name. And which part is my last name? Rahman or Mizanur Rahman?

hello there... when i am still single i am using my middle name and its my mom's surname when she is still single... but now that i am married, i am using my father's surname as my middle name... i use them so that people will know that i am that girl, the daughter of that man...and so that my friends from school will still recognize me... i think...

I think that it is up to the individual person as to which name that they use. and if they use their whole name. i know a few people that go by their middle name and do not use their first name because they do not like it. I also know some people that do not have a middle name at all. I have a daughter that goes by jj....the first initials of her first and middle names.
