I'd to reach the age of 70. You, at what age do you wanna stay in this world? What are your plans and what are you doing now that will let you have the target age? Im not happy seeing old people acting like a baby, cant eat and walk alone, cant clearly hear and see but im so much glad to see old people that can.

Im presently in my twenties so 70's is a very long way.. i really don't know if i'll reach that targeted age but definately i to reach there in good health i have to begin now itself that is take the required in take of food and proper exercise .I think that would be good enough to be physically fit at that age. Reagrding old people acting like babies thats only because theyhave given up and feel that they cannot do any thing more in life if that thought can be eliminated fromour minds then i think most us would be able to do our day to day jobs. And also stay healthyin the process. So i request to all our elders please dont give up and feel useless but instead find out innovative ways to remain active. "Beleive that you can do it".

I don't know if I can able to reach that age because of my health condition. I'm hoping that I will if my illness don't have complication. I want to stay fit and taking care of myself so I can reach that age or 60. Now a days many people die very early because of illness or accidents. I think if we want to live long we should watch our diet and lifestyle . I heard that in China and Japan many live longer the average life expectancy their is 60 and above to 100 yrs. old.

Yes !! i agree with you .. if we keep a check over our diet and lifestyle then it is possible to enjoy life in good health as we grow older. I live with the concept of 'There is no tomorrow'. So i would suggest you live today fully and totally meaning doing whatever your heart wants today fullfilling each and evry dream that you can reach to in that day and don't think of tomorrow . In that way we are inturn not remaining tensed about our future thus increasing our life span.. Just think people in the olden days did not have the big desires, goals that today we want to achieve. For them it was their basic needs if that was satisfied they were happy in life and thus contented and lived longer. Basic statment for longer life " Enjoy every moment of the day as life is beautiful and just live for the day". Best of Luck ... for a longer life..

70 is not old these days. My husband is 75, and we moved to Spain last year. He's up for any challenge, and he likes to have a good time. Sometimes I have a job keeping up with him, and I'm only 57. We have a lot of friends in their 70's, and they are all healthy and enjoying life, although they suffer now and then with the aches and pains that come with age. Dementia can affect people in their 40's, although it is most often associated with older people. If I suffered from dementia, I probably wouldn't want to go on, but then again, I wouldn't know, would I? I think it's a bit pointless speculating as to how long you want to live, because it's not something we have any control over, unless we decide to take our own life.
