Hi fellow mylotters...just wanting to let you all know that I haven't been on here in ages because my computer is very ill & I need to save up to get it fixed. I am staying at my dad's house tonight so thought I'd let everyone know what's going on. Can't wait to get my computer fixed so I can start mylotting again & earning money from my online businesses.

A sick computer? That's kind of different. I guess your computer is infected with viruses, or maybe you need an upgrade badly. In case your PC is infected with viruses, just get it formatted and you will get your good old PC back. I use is a lot of time as my computer gets infected very easily. Hope your PC gets well soon. Regards, AJ-Rox

I used to think that reformatting was the only way to have my PC back but just last year, i learned that an infected PC doesn't always need to be reformatted. Besides having to undergo all the pain of backing up files and putting them back again once fixed, that wouldn't protect you from acquiring future malwares. What you can do is find someone who can evaluate your PC. There are a lot of volunteers online so you don't really have to spend a lot. It's safe to say that their services are FREE! Go visit sites like bleepingcomputer.com or techsupportforum.com and you'll see that there are tons of trained volunteers to help you get your PC up and running and help you prevent future breakdowns. When I learned about them a year ago, it saved me a lot of money having to reformat all of my PCs. I had my old laptop seriously ill (with BSOD, etc) and it went back to normal in just a couple of days. I even had my desktop diagnosed if it was sick as well and true enough, a lot of serious malwares were lurking. You just have to run some programs to test you machine and post some logs they require. Once posted on the forums, a volunteer will reply to your thread and give you further instructions. The time it takes to restore you machine to normal depends on how serious the problems are. But rest assured that you dont have to pay any amount, it's absolutely FREE of charge. The applications they would require you to download and run are free as well. Once your machine is clean again, the volunteer will prescribe you other security tools to prevent future infections (FREE). You really just have to follow their instructions and post some results so they can evaluate your machine. Try visiting their forums and you'll see what I am talking about. Since I had all my computers checked by them, I never had any serious problems for over a year now. And have I mentioned that they are all free? :D

What virus scan are you running? I use AVG 8.5 free addition, and am very happy with it. Got a virus so bad once, though, that the only thing I could do was to wipe my harddrive and reload everything. That takes forever, unfortunately, especially with the later versions of windows. I upgraded from windows 98 to windows xp only about a year and a half ago.

Hey, Yea I have had many friends that have had 'sick' computers, mainly stuffed due to viruses and spyware, just do a nice format of your computer and you are good to go. Just back up your stuff too. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

I did try this before my computer got REALLY ill but due to the VERY slow speed of my prepaid broadband, I wasn't able to download it properly but when I get my computer fixed, I will get them to add it or avg or avast for me.
