Would you abort your own child?

I have a friend who got pregnant. I did not really know it until someone ask me how true it is. I said it's not since I don't know and she really did not me. I was completely blind by all the issues.So I confronted her if it's true because I was worried about her. She did not deny, so i ask her, is it why you're leaving for abroad? She said no, because she's no longer carrying the child anymore. I go confused and ask how come? She told me she had it aborted! I was really shocked because how could she killed her own flesh and blood. She said she wasn't ready yet. Would you do that to your own child?
