hello everyone,is it only me or is there many of you out there, that think that charity shops today are a tad bit expensive for perhaps poorer people who desperately need clothes, furniture general things from charity shops in the past i know becuase i rember it well going into a charity shop and being able to get bag full of items for almost nothing nowadays this is definately not the case, i have volenteered in a charity shop for four years now a charity shop which is a true charity shop gives everything for barely nothing to people who have barely nothing, have large families,or very little income ,homeless people ,this is a true charity shop ,this charity shop is called st. vincent de paul which was set up by a man called vincent de paul in the 16th century who wanted to improve the life of the many homeless and extremely poor people in paris,i dont think he would not be happy with what he saw today it is actually cheaper to buy brand new items of clothes and other items in sales and on ebay that is not a good thing to state, and also sales in charity shops and prople who work in the charity shops getting paid i think its all wrong and not what a charity shop is supposed to be. what do you think?

Hello, Yes I know what you mean! Like one time my mother walked in because she wanted to help someone who was really quite poor, and even she was shocked at the prices. You could almost buy new clothes with that kind of money. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!
