What's the most embarrassing moment you've ever had?

Here goes. This is a really embarrassing moment for me. It haunts me! And, I'm going to confess it. About five years ago, when we moved into our old house (the place we used to live), our tub stopped working in the front bathroom. And, it was a nice tub too, way more spacious than the tub in the back bath area. I really liked that tub and wanted it to work. I did everything I could do to unstop the tub. I used tons of drain cleaner. But nothing worked. And, so I had a clogged tub with six inches of standing water. I had to bail out the tub and hope no one got in the tub to run water. Then about a year later, I was in the bathroom (with the clogged pipe tub) cleaning the mirrors and glanced over and saw a weird silver color switch right beneath the tub faucets. I'd never noticed the switch before. It just popped up out of nowhere. It was in plain sight, not like it was hidden. So, on a lark, I flipped the switch and the tub emptied in less than five minutes. Turned out to be the tub stop drain switch. How could I have missed it? Needless to say, that was the biggest bone-head move I've ever made. Not the part about emptying the tub, but the part where I missed the tub drain switch for a whole year! Anyway, I've told mine, now tell me yours. What's your most embarrassing moment?

There were so many embarassing moments that everyone must have had. This was during my graduation when I was admiring a girl in my class, I approached her but came to know that she already had a boyfriend at that point of time I felt a bit embarrassed.

That's a good one lol!! Mine isn't like that but I would have to say that mine happened about 12 years ago & I was out night clubbing with the guy I was seeing & was wearing a mini dress (the rare occasion that I wear a dress) & walking down the road between clubs, it was windy & the guy I was with decided to help the wind lift my dress!!! Needless to say I have NEVER worn a dress to a club or pub since.

Oh! I would have blushed to the roots of my scalp. I am so modest when it comes to clothes.

lol i did it too... it took me 2 weeks to figure out the switch... the difference is that i knew it was there... at first the tub was really cloged, but it got uncloged by all the drain cleaners BUT it hasn't worked anyway, i figured the clog was too big and gave up on it. two weeks later thought i'd try again, fliped the switch and there it went...

The fact that it took me over a year to see that switch (which was in plain view) still bugs me. How could i miss it? I was a new mom at the time and obviously my head was elsewhere. My daughter had just started walking around the time I discovered the tub drain switch, so guess I got the answer at the time I needed it. I was always so afraid that someone would leave water standing in the tub and she would topple in by mistake, so I always kept that door tightly shut and locked.

Hi beauty, That is a great story, how silly of you not to notice, lol!, well mine is when I was very young, long, long, long, ago, I was out with my very first boyfriend, and we went out for a drive in his car and parked up for a little cuddle, well he leaned over to me for a kiss, and OMG!!! I broke wind, it was loud, he was silent for a little while and said that wasen't his car seat making noise, I just burst out laughing, but we did go out for six more years before we went our seperate ways, I suppose just grew out of each other. Ok here goes! LOL I am not from the south and evidentally have a lot to learn about the beach life! LOL We went on vacation to Florida a few weeks ago and my sister would not shut up about me getting one of these new Tankinis. So I did it I bit on it and let's just say I am not two piece material! I pranced myself in that ocean trying not to look like total out of towner and here come the waves and rolled my butt across that beach and my worst nightmare came true. For all of those people that think the infamous tankini top wont come up in water...well don't be wearing it to the beach. The only good thing is we went to a different beach the next day so hopefully noone recognized me. Oh by the way I went and got me a one-piece and trashed the Tankini!

Don't feel so bad or embarrassed! There was a switch in my car on the driver's side that lets you keep anyone else from rolling down the windows that I didn't know about. My toddler loves to roll down hers and I kept fighting to roll it back up again. Then one day I went to roll her window back up when I noticed the switch sitting there. Wondering what it did I hit it. My daughter started getting mad and I noticed she couldn't roll down her window after I asked my other daughter to try and rolls her down. We've had the car for close to two years now. So if anything I am the real bone head here, lol. As far as embarrassing moments I have quite a bit! But the most recent one was... My husband and I were driving downtown one day when the gas light came on. This meant that we only had a few gallons left and needed to fill the tank. I don't mean to let it get down so low but we had been busy and I didn't pay attention. We went into town and went back home because it was late and we needed to get the kids home. The next morning I was going to go out and buy gas on my way to the store as the gas station was only within a mile of my house and we didn't drive far that night. Well I started driving to the store and I missed the left turn to go to the gas station near my home. So I figured I could make the next one. Well as I drove to the next gas station trying my hardest to get there as quick as possible I ran out of gas as I was pulling into the gas station-not even making it to the pump. The gas attendant, they pump your gas here in Oregon, asked if I ran out of gas and I said yes. So he yelled to his co-worker that I ran out of gas and they had to come and push my car up to the tank. I can honestly say that I never fail to pay attention to my gas tank and always fill it back up at halfway. *Blush*

Wish we had that fun little window thing on our car. Most times, when my daughter wants the window to go down, then down it goes!

LOL.. that was pretty embarrassing, I must say. As for me, it would be those talk alone moments. Like when I turn around to talk to my friend or family member (whoever I'm with at that time), and they are no longer there. A slippery slip would be too. But I think this very embarrassing moment for me was when I slipped at the gas station because there were some oil spills from other bikes. Was trying to get inside to the cashier and pay and I slipped. That was a very blushing moment for me. My pride was bruised instead of my bum..
