Caffeine is the American way of life now days. People of all ages are addicted to some kind of Caffeine. Americans drink about 500 million cups of Coffee a day. Isn't that crazy. I want to share with you if are the high consumption of coffee drinkers. Start off with slowly cut back on the coffee intake. Example would be if you drink 5 cups a day then cut back to 4 1/2 ,4, and so on until you have achived the desire amount. I would like to hear if anyone else has any other suggestions.

Hi, rosepedal I can drink as much as 4 to 5 cups of coffee a day. I love strong coffee so I am a little hardcore coffee drinker I am also trying to cut back right now. I have been married for over a year and my husband and I think that it is about time to have a child. I have reduced my consumption to two cups. My problem is that I get a headache if I miss having a cup in the morning and in the afternoon. So, I just comply with those requirements since my third, forth, fifth cups are just for pleasure. We love to hang out in coffee shops but I have started to order blended non-coffee drinks. If I could not take the big whipped cream on those drink, I would just order raspberry iced tea. Take care!

I am still a big coffee drinker. I had tried to cut back and only ended up with headaches. I was told from a pyschogist that too much coffee can make you nervous. I find that with myself that if I don;t get the coffee Im too nervous then. So it is a win lose situation. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Have a nice day..

I ahve started drinking coffee since I have moved into United Sates, because of my hubby drinks everyday so I just started it as well... I drink about 1 or 2 cups each day, sometimes a lot more than that. I think I am okayso far, I might cut it down later when I need to like getting pregnant and stuff.

I used to drink 5, 6, or even 7 cups a day. Then I found out that there was a study that determined that only one cup of coffee a day can reduce your chances of conceiving by 50%. I quit cold turkey, since my wife and I are wanting to have a child. It was rough, headaches were the worst part. On the third day it felt like I had a migraine. But I've been caffeine free for just over a month now.
