Which do you think is better? Ipanema or Havaiannas?

Which do think is a better brand of flipflops? I'm planning to buy a pair of flipflops and I am torn between these two. I like Ipanema because its so soft and it is not heavy for my feet but I also like Haviannas because of their different designs. How about you? If you were me, which brand of flipflops will you buy and why? Thanks. :)

I've tried both, and personally I like Havaianas. Although ipanemas are more comfotable, havaianas are too and they offer cuter patterns and designs :)

Wow. A lot of Mylotters are Havaiannas lovers. lol. I just hope that the rumor that there is Lead in some Havaiannas slippers is not true. That would only give plus points to Ipanema. I personally like them both though.

Havaianas are great also. However, I fell in love with Ipanema's Giselle Bundchen collection. They are so comfortable and very stylish. I will post a picture of one of their designs. The picture here is the life design. I also want to buy the other designs like the black butterfly and henna designs.:)

i like havaianas more than ipanema because ipanema's design is more of a manly type. i like havaianas because its simple and elegant. i can wear it in any occasions.

I have to disagree with this one. Have you seen the Giselle Bundchen collection of Ipanema because it is definitely the unmanliest design collection of flipflops I have ever seen.

I tried both Havaianas and Ipanema. Havaianas is of course, much more popular, the brand is easily recognizable. But when it comes to quality, to the feeling of your sole, it's Ipanema for me. Ipanema flip flops are just so soft and comfortable to wear. I also like Dupe, another Brazilian flip flops. Dupe is cheaper but it's also comfortable and have plenty of designs to choose from.

I already chose Ipanema. I love the Giselle Bundchen Collection. The color of the Ipanema flipflop I have chosen is gold with hints of brown in it and I am very satisfied with it.

I totally agree with you guys here, Ipanema is definitely softer and with a good grip on the soles. Their designs are so stylish that you'll hardly know they are actually flip flops. Who knows style and comfort could be in just one product? Some Ipanemas are quite pricey but go ahead, it's worth the money splurge. Enjoy!

Before all of my slippers were Havaianas because there were so many designs to choose from but I changed to Ipanema, why? Because in my opinion Ipanema is more durable and they have the girliest designs, in fact all of my Ipanema flip-flops (I have three pairs) are still in good condition and I bought them 2 years ago, I just fell in love with each pair and I still am! While all of my Havs (I also had three pairs) only lasted for a year and less, I also loved their designs but I'm after the durability.
