This is just my hunch, I got a200k also, I love it so much, but I never bought an accessories for it that is not recommended by Sony itself, I've asked around when I first bought my camera, and I've learned that Minolta brand also works for Sony units includng the Flash. At the end I still look for the Sony Brands, I can't compromise over brands, I love my Camera that much is doesn't come cheap, I beleive you can download their manuals from Sony website, they will show you a list of accessories the will work on your camera, plus it's the safest place to ask around.

In the days of film, Minolta was the equal of Nikon and Canon, and their lenses were absolutely top rate. Unfortunately they were very late into the digital game, and couldn't compete with the other manufacturers. That's when Sony entered the picture and bought Minolta's camera business, while Konica bought the rest of Minolta (photocopiers, etc). Sony are very good at the electronics side, but not so good at optics. The best Sony lenses are Minolta designs that have been re-branded as Sony. The newer Sony lenses (and especially the kit lenses) are nowhere near as good. You can buy the Minolta equipment with confidence that it will still be good quality, even if it's a few years old.
