Lindsey Baum Missing 10 Year Old

Have you heard about this little girl missing after leaving her friends house to go home less than 1/2 mile at 9:30 at night in McCleary, Washington. She has not been found however her Father is suppose to report to Iraq. I think this is terribly wrong. How is he suppose to do his job while knowing his little girl is missing. Isn't this just so wrong? What do you think?

She was living with her parents in the State of Washington. Now she is still missing and her father has to report to Iraq. With the child missing or not. It seems that the service does not care.

Have they found her. I have heard nothing. I cannot believe they would make him go. The whole thing is so sad.

As of two days ago NO. There is no sign of her at all. They said its like she disappeared into thin air. Aliens maybe??

Personally this is definately a Bad situation and one many families would Hate to experience as well, and how someone can disappear like this without a trace is amazing as well. But this just goes to show that you really can Trust no one or nothing these days and should always make sure your children are supervised more closely especially later in the evening coming home from somewhere even if it is really close. Somehow I hope in time there can eventually be some closure to this more as well.

Yes parents have to learn to stop being so trusting. To have a child of 10 or 11 walking home at 9:30 at night is crazy. Every parent needs to keep a watchful eye on their child and don't ever take anything for granted. Thank you for responding.

saw that on the tv too and i think it is awful if they make him go it is a family emergency so maybe he get get out of going some way i sure hope so and will pray for the return of the little girl safe.

I agree with you. There is no way that this man is going to be able to keep his mind right and keep himself safe when he is worried about his little girl. Being a mother of a 10 year little girl I know that I would not be able to do it. Isn't there some kind of waiver that the gov. can give this poor man to keep him home until she if found?
