what is the best johnny depp movie for you?

Well, I have to state three of my favorites in reverse order: My third favorite is Edward Scissorhands, because i loved his innocence but still kept the romance........second favorite is the first Pirates movie just because his acting and accent was the best and he was humorous without losing credibility of being an actor.....but my favorite has got to be "Whats Eating Gilbert Grape?"....it is a work that is so overlooked, but his performance was so moving and real that it will always be the best Johnny Depp movie ever for me.

Carribean Pirates I is my favorite movie of Depp .i really love the image when he first came onto the screen ,with a sunk ship under his feet but he didn't mind it for all and the wild expression on his face. and his talking lines in the movie which gives me a great laugh..

I would have to say Pirates of the Carribean, all three of them. I think he was simply brilliant in those movies. He always plays his characters so well though, that you don't see Johmmy Depp, you actualy see the character.

actually i'm not a depp fan, but without doubt johnny depp is a awesome actor,i especial like her works with the director Tim Burton,they're good parnter,like they guys together made the flim scissor and the chocolate factory.

Depp is truely an artist. He can play absoloutly anything I think. He has never allowed himself to be labeled or stuck in one particular genre. Chocolat is my favorite with him in it. Kudos to Sleepy Hollow as well. He's masterful as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Carrabian. Unfortionaly I disagree with him and his work in the Burton's films. But then I loathe Burton's work anyway (with the exception of James and the Giant Peach).
