A mother buried her baby alive, though the baby was saved later

The breaking news on my local TV station has it that a mother bury her baby. The mother got pregnant outside marriage, the father denied the pregnancy. The mother of the supposed father accept the girl with the pregnancy at her home, cause the girl's brother threw her out from her house. The girl on her own left the house of the mother of the father of the baby and delivered the baby without going to hospital. She then buried the baby, a neighbour that knew she was pregnant, noticed what was happening and raise alarm. They went and dug the baby out, fortunately he was still alive. The police and welfare were notified and they contacted the grand mother of the baby, who on camera accepted the baby and was crying asking the baby's mother why she wants to kill the baby. She said that her son, who has gone awol, is responsible for the pregnancy. The mother of the baby said she wanted to kill the baby, because her bro threw her out. Who is to blame, for me no mata wat the girl is to be blamed.

i think the baby is thebest present from the God, i can't understand why the mother can do that,in fact,it's not so terrible to be a sigle mother

I believe so, the grandmother named the baby Destiny or Divine, i can't recall precisely.

That is a very upsetting story. I am delighted that despite being buried the baby boy is alive. The grandmother must have been shocked about the mother doing that to her innocent little baby. It was lucky that the neighbor raised the alarm. It must have been challenging to have the birth without a midwife being present. The mother was in a desperate situation and she should have sought professional help. It is possible to adopt an unwanted baby. The mother might have mental problems because every parent should love their child and protect him or her.

That's so terrible. I just can't understand why some people has the ability to act like this.I feel so sorry for the child being born to such parents and for being in that situation.

I guess she was afraid of being a single mom. She felt she can't raise the child alone.

This is sad. Why she just give up the baby for adoption or give it away? The baby still has a chance. She had carried that baby in her womb for 9 months. And as a mother, those 9 months will always be special, feeling a life growing inside of you.
No matter what her circumstances are, what she did is still wrong and should be held responsible. Taking an innocent life where that tiny baby has no way of defending itself. Let the mother have the punishment that she deserves.
