I cant beleve I didn't notice.

Yesterday I noticed my cat's mouth looked funny. He didn't seem to be in any pain so we decided to just keep an eye on him. Well this morning I was looking at his mouth again and I figured out why he looked so funny. His right fang is gone!
Now the thing is his gum is completly healed! meaning it had to have been like that for a while, there's no sign of infection and he's still eating like a little piggy.
How could I have not noticed? :(

I cant remember ever noticing this in any of our cats over the years but they must have lost a tooth at some time.
As poster #1 said its possible you did not notice it because it did not make te cat uhcomfortable.
Most of our cats lived until they were pretty old but I really cant remember ever noticing that they had lost any tooth.

cats are sneaky like that, who knows what cats really do and get into and they hide it very good. they're very tough and your cat just probably wasn't that bothered by it.
