Where did you go when you took your first ever airplane ride?

When i was in high school, my best friend and her family were going to Puerto Rico to visit her grandfather, and wanted me to come along. I told them there was no way i could afford it, but they offered to pay for me, so how could i turn it down? When we got to the airport, everything went wrong. We got there at 4 am, our flight was delayed until about 2 pm, so we switched flights. Then they made us go through security again and did the "youve been randomly selected for additional screening" so we got searched. one of my bags made the bomb alarm go off because my aunt used to carry her chemotherapy pills in it, so they cut it open and took everything out and whatnot, to find out it wasnt a bomb. Then that flight got delayed too! so we sat there until about 5 pm, and finally got on the plane. The flight was okay, but that day was just horrible. How was your first experience at an airport? Were you scared to fly? I know i was terrified.
