What is the nicest thing someone has done for you

I remember when I moved into my apartment in Missouri. I owned nothing except the sleeping bags and air mattresses my niece and I slept on. I had moved into the apartment before he had a chance to get it fully cleaned to his satisfaction from the previous resident. He had a painter come in to repaint the living room. The painter came in and saw that he would have to move our air mattresses in order to do what he needed to do in the bedrooms. Before he left, he expressed that he had the idea to contact his church to see if anyone had some home furnishings they could donate. I didn't think anything would come of it because I had never been on the receiving end of such gifts. I came home later that day and there was furniture galore (a sofa/sleeper and love seat, microwave oven and dishes, and loads of food and cleaning supplies). Later that day, they brought two beds and dressers and a $50 gift card to walmart. My brother had wanted me to return that and then changed his mind and told me to buy winter jackets for both my niece and me. I know that they would never accept payment for those items, but now I feel like I need to pass the wealth around as soon as I am able to. I am still not working, but at least I am comfortable. So, what is the nicest thing anyone has done for you?

That is awesome! I have had people help me out in many ways throughout my life. I dont think that I could pick one example as the nicest! A few good examples, though: A coworker helped me replace a pane of glass in a window at my apartment. That way it only cost me abot $10 rather than the $200 contractor would have charged to replace the entire window! Complete strangers stayed to make sure I was ok and that the other driver was listed as at fault after an accident. The other driver never stopped. I would have been completely screwed on my insurance without the witnesses! I think it is wonderful that you want to pass the kindness on to someone else who needs it. If we all did that, the world would be so much better!

I agree that it was nice for those people to look out for you and help you out. I always tell people I help out to not worry about paying me back. Just pass it on to someone else. It will come back to you in the end that way. Have a great day!!!

That is great! I hope those people do pass it on to someone else! In a lot of ways you do get something by helping others. Nothing can replace the looks of gratitude they give you and knowing that you have really made a difference for someone! Seeing someone speechless for an unexpected gift (so they had heat through the winter) was probably the best thanks I could have ever recieved!

I think the nicest thing my friend give to me is a guitar, why guitar? This guitar helps me alot because this thing is the reason why im with my loving wife, my friend helps me to court this girl by playing guitar while singing, in phillipines we call it "harana". That moment is very memorable to me, thats why everytime i see my guitar i always remember that without this im incomplete.
