Is there a conspiracy to establish a one world government?

Even presidents have used the term 'New World Order'. Are we all just being paranoid? Have you been called a conspiracy nut cause you think we are all being led down the path to '1984'?
Whether your reasons for believing in a conspiracy are political or religious, have you visited sites and read claims concerning the Illuminati and the Bilderberger Group?
If you don't think we have anything to worry about, tell me why you think everything is business as usual.

I am not that worried about some new world order with a one world government. We have enough threats to our liberty at home to worry about. A million tyrants one mile away is much more dangerous than one tyrant million miles away. Now we do need to concern ourselves we the lose of national sovereignty, but with so many countries with so many different agenda I cannot see how it would be possible to unite the world into a one world government.

I've wondered how they'd do that too. Maybe a world wide crisis...natural disaster? Do you think if a meteor hit we'd all be made to cooperate? Or would anarcy rule the day?

It would take a crisis that affect everyone the same way to unite all countries. The issue would also be to keep them united. Once the crisis was resolved some countries would want to break away. Also being the perception that a group of countries might benefit at the expense of others could create a World Civil war much like our American Civil war.

Gewcew....our problems at home ARE a result of the push for a World Government. We're not going to fix anything here until people realize what the bigger plan is. Even then....it may be past the point of fixing.

The Muslims are looking for the return of the 12th Iman...and believe that he will return amidst global disasters or wars. The president of Iran is attempting to gain nuclear weapons to bring this return about...this is documented by Muslim scholars.
Israel has been in the land since 1948...and Jesus said that the generation that saw this return to Jerusalem by the Jews would be the one to see him return. I know the Bible says we cannot know the day or hour...but Jesus did narrow it down to the generation...there is many more reasons I believe we are in the end times...but this is the main one I quote.

yes,i think its been around for some time now...Alex jones has a radio show and a website Prisonplanet.com and that all he talks about the new world order...former president G.H.Bush declare it in one of his speeches. Believe it or not there are forces out there that are ready to mold this world into one rule,one idea,one spirit,and one flag...kind of scary,but,fact the United Nations is just a precursor of its under belly...

I have heard a bit about the New World or One World Order. If all that is to be achieved it will no doubt involve a whole lot of blood shed and the stomping upon the rights of many many nations and citizens everywhere.
I do not think it is wise for us to be totally unconcerned about such a notion taking shape and form in the minds of some or a group of persons. It happened before and history holds the gruesome records of that attempt.
It is said that the rich as well as religious interest will be the main instigators in such a move. With the level of greed, selfishness and the will to control others which is being displayed by some in or world today it is not hard to believe they would take it a step further.
It is defintely in our best interest that we pay attention to what is happening not in our own countries only but with the world's big wigs as well. The happenings around us are enough to make us know it is definately not business as usual. We ought not bury our heads in the sand and wish for it to be so. i beliave many of the claims are valid in one way or another.

Since the beginning of recorded time, man has tried to establish a one world government or empire.
The Babylonians-The Greeks (Medes) and Persians-Rome-Napoleon-Hitler. I don't think we will throw out the notion...it seems to be part of our DNA.

Have you done any research on the above mentioned groups? Some are saying the Rothchild family and their control of the banking world is behind all this, what do you think?

Hi,
This is a thought provoking topic. I really believe conspiracies will always be part of our lives. We, who believe in a higher power, ruler of all, or God, should be watchful and put our trust in the creator. What is there that we could do if this were to come to pass? Nothing, I think. I don't think we are paranoid, conspiracy is as old as the earth.
