The Shampoo Sham (an aromatic poem)

(Thanks in advance for reading my poem). -------------------

She washed her hair in lavender,
and the gents came buzzing 'round,
then she diluted it to make it last,
and the gents were nowhere to be found.
Alas, she bought more lavender,
and washed her hair full strength,
the gents could smell it a mile away,
it was all they could do not to retch.
