Guys I need help. I've been having trouble getting some sleep at night for the past few months. I've tried having a warm bath, massage, warm milk among others but nothing seems to help. I've put taking certain drugs into consideration but I realized that that bad effects outweigh the good so i decided to put it off. Now I don't know what to do..

Hi, friend. This is very common problem and i have also experienced it in the past. I did a few things and it was gone. - Be relaxed as being in tension is not a solution to your problems. -Practice regular Yoga and Meditation (if you don`t know how, join yoga classes and try to get books on it). I have seen thousands of problems been cured by it. -Make books your friends in spare time. -While going to sleep, practice Bhramari Pranayam (A yoga practice). Take deep breath in, close your ears and eyes simultaneously and gently with your fingertips. Now keeping your mouth closed, make humming sound with moderate loudness, and focussing your mind on the area between your eyebrows, until all your taken breath comes out through your nose. It generally takes 20-40 seconds in one step depending on your breath holding capacity. Do it at least 3 times just before sleeping. Keep a gap of at least 1 hour between your meal and doing this practice. Keep in mind, that yoga does not benefit in one day, but, proves miraculous on regular practice. - Also, try to manage your daily routine rationally and do not sleep more or less than what your body needs. A good daily routine eliminates general problems automatically. Happy Mylotting and Have sound sleep!!
