I will say 'No'. A hand written love letter is something very differnt from a love letter email. You will get a special feeling or happiness when you read through the hand writing of the person who loves you. It is not happening often in this electronic world. Whiat do you say about this? Do you prefer a hand-written love letter or an email? Do you prefer an email love letter because it is easy to send? I mean you can avoid the work to go to a post office and send it. Do you get the same feeling reading a hand written one and an email?

their is a dreaded gap between a letter and an email, especially a love letter... m sure many would agree on this, you can't have those feelings slipped inside and sent in an email like you can do with a mail, mail is wonderful...and especially love letter..... email will never have those qualities and they do not convey the feelings that you want to express

I love to read a hand written mail, than e-mail, because the effort of the person is their like the way he/she makes her letter. You could see the style of the letter in handwritten if it is written nicely though the penmanship is not so nice but clear and readable that is just fine and better. In e-mail sender could put emoticons, put background or stationary and could make it bold, italic or change the font style and easy to do w/out errors after editing before sending. Both mails and emails do not really covey and express the feelings of the sender and it is up to the recipient or receiver t understand and interpret the letters content. It is a different feeling between e-mail and mail in hand written.

Yes, I agree with both of you. There is a lot of difference between a hand written letter and an email. The hand written letter clearly conveys the feelings and emotions of the writer whereas an email doesn't succeed in fully bringing in the feelings. Also, the handwriting of the person makes it more attached to us. Thanks for responding.

Nobody has sent a love letter to me so far, neither electronic nor manuscript. But i think i would prefer hand written, because there is some sacrifice involved in writing a letter by hand. Unlike sitting before a computer and forwarding messages, writing letters involves some commitment from the sender right from procuring stationary to putting on the thinking cap to use the appropriate words. I imagine i will get a chance to read one to have the real feel of things

Thanks for the response. I am sure in the near future you will have the chanace to read one to get the real feeling. Yes, you are right, even I feel there is more effort in writing a letter, than typing an email. The feel is evoked on seeing the hand writing of the person you love. I have heard that people try to write in good handwriting when they write love letters.

Nah, its ofcourse a big NO. First of all the emotion you get in writing is different to the letter that e-mailed to you, you can feel the emotion of the person who write the letter but in e-mail its just a simple letter that anybody can do. But in this era we are now in computer age so many people do e-mail than to write a letter.
