Growing Old gracefully - An elderly couple still in love and in love with life.
I am 57 going on 60. most people who see me and many who know me but don't know my true age think I am 39 or 40. I sometimes feel 80 but not all the time. I now have some arthritis of the hips and do not see as well as I used to. But I hear quite well. I stay busy and do a lot of things I enjoy doing. I feel pretty good most the time. I have fun. I don't worry a lot and do things that are relaxing and relieve stress. I still play maybe not as long but will run sometimes not as far and play tag or hide and seek with my grandkids. Life is pretty much what you choose to make it at any age. If you think your old, act old then you are old. If you act young and think young, take care of yourself then your young at heart. Live life, take time to watch a sunset, play tag, laugh, love, and sing, play with your grandkids, do things you love to do. Don't worry over what you cannot change. Share life with your SO or family when ever and where ever you can. You just might live longer.
