it's like Harry Potter + Twilight

I think the House of Night books are kind of like a combinationof Harry Potter and Twilight; there is a school that they go to, but they are vampires.
Zoey is like Harry because she's a special student, and she's like Bella becasue she's caring, and does what's right plus she falls for vampires, lol.
And Zoey and Harry's parents aren't there for either of them.
Aphrodite is kind of like Malfoy and Rosalie Hale, and Neferet is kind of like Dumbledore.

I've already read the five series of this novel and honestly, I haven't really looked at it that way. But then again, in most books, the main character seems to be special most of the time.
And as for Aphrodite, yeah she's a bit annoying at first. But try to read the book and you'd be surprise how "unlike" Malfoy she is.

I agree...Aphrodite grows on ya,lol! And as far as being like Dumbledore, Neferet couldn't be farther from it!!!! I just finished Burned not long ago and can't wait until the next one comes out, really got hooked on these ones.

Oh my goodness, your right. I cant belive i have never thought about that. I am a fan of both so it's really shocking to find this out before i found it out. Thanks for telling me though. I wonde if the author is a fan of the other and wrote their own copy to it.
