Today i saw a baby at the school gate - really baby of 3+ age, going to school with a huge bag at her back. She was carrying the bag as she was climbing up a mountain. I think teachers should not insist to bring everyday a lot of books or copies. At this stage studies could be done without books. We are becoming cruel to the students day by day in the name of "QUALITY" education. Is it process to get the QUALITY education?

i know what you mean on that one. i have two kids going to school now. and my eldest when she was in her 1st grade, i bought her this huge bag with a wheel coz they have so many books at school and that as she said all of it are needed to be brought every single day. also what irritates me is that my child goes to school from morning till 5 pm, comes home with a whole lot of assignments that there is no time for her to play. i find it important for me for kids to play, i grew up playing, and i want my kids to have the same thing too. i know education is important but they are kids and i want them to have fun growing up. there were a few times that my daughter was only able to sleep at 11 in the evening coz that was the time she finished her homework... i transferred her to another school. my son has a different story, he's studying in a public school, and they have lots of books too, he told me they seldom use those books at school. he had homeworks but i saw him never used those books. i think it would be better if the books are left at school, since its not used at home, whats the point in bring it at home, when they are not going to use it.

3 years old? Wow, that's cruel. I think a 3 year old baby should be at home, or nursery, playing, singing, dancing, laughing, and not be burden by study. It hard on the child. I don't mean that 3 year old baby cannot study, but make it indirect way, through playing, singing and dancing and not through so many books. I don't think quality education should start at 3, I think quality in education should not mean to torture three yearl old baby into learning with so many books.
