any body heard about the in house dog pottie

i was watching tv the other night, when i saw commercial about a fake patch of grass that you put in your house for your dog to do there thing on,so you don't have to go out side. that make no sense to me to have an fake patch of grass in my house for my dog,why not just take them outside so you want have to clean the little old fake pacth?, which will eventually get sour.my mylotter friends, what are your take on this?

I agree it does sound disgusting. Some people may actually use it. I think maybe for smaller dogs who stay indoors alot it may be a good idea, but who knows.
