Have you ever been spoofed?

Today I was checking through my GMail account and found an email that was entitled, "Administrative warning!" and of course, I clicked on it, cause it looked as if it might be from the Mylot administration. I've been waiting for my email from Mylot admin asking for my social security info so I can get paid. Anyway, the email wasn't from Mylot and there was a warning link at the top of my email from Gmail that said the email was most likely a spoof or fake email. They said that emails containing the subject line RE or sender address 'Me' are most likely fake and should not be opened. Just wondering if anyone else has accidentally clicked on a fake or spook email?
