I am frustrated over PPC maniacs

I am having some great amount of frustration on MyLot with such a high percentage of members so obsessed over PayPerClick programmes. So what if the measly amount adds up? Couldn't we save this time up and spend it on some quality work? Can someone save this utter ridicule (in my point of view) from our earthlings? Life isn't supposed to be wasted like this, is it? So, is there any great money making plans from our members or campaigns of making money online? Can we turn away from this terrible PPC trend? Isn't there other ways to make money? Lets discuss.
