Why most people afraid of bats?

It depends on what kind of bats. The bats we have here in the philippines are mostly fruit bats and insect bats and there are large and small bats. Most fruit bats, they eat only fruits, are called large flying foxes because they do look like foxes and if you really take a closer look they are really cute. some are as cute as faces of puppies or foxes. And they don't have rabies. These creatures are really helpful in spreading seeds for nature and most of the time they are mistaken for vampires and dangerous because of the portrayal of them in movies. But there are also vampire bats which suck on the blood of cattle.
