Sad to say you are, according to the BMI Chart. Have a look here... http://www.niufm.com/site_resources/library/Promotions/Pick_The_Tick/BMI-Chart585.jpg ..and we're the same height but I'm rather underweight.

The mylot age is 16, you will probably have your account banned. But kids shouldn't worry about their weight, just lay off the soda and candy and sign up for some kind of sport or extracurricular activity.

Here is my research according to your age. "A 10 year old (female) child who is 140 pounds and is 4 feet and 11 inches tall has a body mass index of 28.3, which is over the 95th percentile, and would indicate that your child is overweight." http://www.quitkillingyourkids.com/growthchart_example1.gif

I can't say if you are overweight. if you want me to say just upload some photos of yourself. you are overweight when you think you are. I know some things about exercising and dieting, so if you need advice write me. The main basis of the weight loss is that you should take less calories than you burn.

Don't upload any photos of yourself. You are waaaay underage to be doing that. Not sure you'll be on here long being under the legal MyLot age. Talk to a school counselor or a Youth Pastor at a local Bible teaching church.

Basic excercise(10-20 minutes a day), and water. Drink lot's of water. I know numerous people even without excercise that drank lots of water and ate a bit less that lost lot's of weight.

I second that, but for someone at her age might find it hard to maintain their balance of diet unless they are given a healthy food by their parents or being encourage to eat a proper food.

yes, i would say at 4'-11" you are overweight unless that weight is muscle and not fat. muscle mass weighs more than fat does so if you are extremely muscular you would not be considered overweight.

Hey Nathalie! Stay encouraged! You are important and you can do this! I'm no expert except that I've had FOUR babies and gained 42 pounds with each one! So I do know the struggles of losing weight. The most important thinig I can say is have small goals and reward yourself with something OTHER than food! An easy thing for shopping... make a LIST and STICK to it! Don't write things down you know aren't good for you! Hang in there! Celebrate every little goal and DOUBLE celebrate when you reach a BIG Goal!! BearbALLew
