First, I'm not sure if anyone had this topic already. So, I'm the type of person who find it hard to sleep or wake up early. If I sleep early, e.g. 8 or 9 in the evening I'd wake up around 12 midnight or 2 in the morning. But, if I sleep late I'd wake up late and my sleeping hours would be 12hours. I know it's not normal but how can you sleep early and wake up early?

Well, I usually use an alarm clock. I go to bed at the same time every night, so my body is used to falling asleep at a certain time, and my alarm is set for 5:30am every day. So this way, even if I don't fall asleep early, I still get up and keep my body on a schedule. Hope this helps!! Welcome to myLot!!!

Thank you, but what if your body don't cooperate? I've tried having a sleeping routine but I can never do it, when I feel sleepy I don't go sleep because I can't sleep I either read books or write or surf the net. and when my alarm goes off I don't get up straight away, like I set my alarm for 5.30 then snooze every 15 minutes and I end up waking up an hour or two later. My dad told me, I might just lazy, but when there's an important event I sleep and wake up early though I want to do it everyday, but end up not doing it.

Hey Lizzrr, I used to be the kind of guy as you are but I practiced myself to get up early.Usually a man needs 8 hours of sleeping. So try yourself by going to bed around 10'o clock and try to wake up around 5 or 6'o clock. If you keep on trying with this routine to body will automatically set the biological clock that is you will wake up at the same time without your alarm clock after some days of practicing. But remember one thing this completely your involvement. If you let free you don't get used to this practice and also waking up early in the morning is a good habit.Try to practice.
