Learning C programming language itself is easy, but programming using C is not. Nowadays C programming language was mainly used for building OS, it's very rare to build applications with C programming language.

C will be a great basis for your future programming language improvements. Many other programming languages follow or have similar syntax like C has. I suggest that you give C a try because it can't do any harm if you know something extra. Happy mylotting and take care!

It will be not much useful for you if you learn C programming as you are not a computer science student. If you are interested to create any application with help of C programming then start studying. Now a days C programming are used just for basic understanding. As C programming is base for C++,JAVA and C#.So C programming is studied first.

C is fairly easy to learn even if you're not a comsci student... if you intend to study other languages like java, it's better if you learn c first to help understand some programming languages better.. though it's not pre-requisite.
